Product Info
Rosemary has been harvested for millennia by Egyptians, Greeks and Romans for gastronomy and aromatherapy. Therapeutically, it has been used for many applications such as purifying the air during major epidemics of plague during the Middle Ages, soothe joint pain and relieve liver problems.
There are 3 different rosemary officinalis. Rosemary Verbenone is the variety that contains the least camphor and is gentle for the skin.
Perfect for detoxifying the liver and regulating the bile and liver.
Rosemary Verbenone essential oil is mainly known for its ability to detoxify the liver. Antioxidant properties of Rosemary Verbenone help protect and regenerate liver cells from toxins attacks.
This essential oil is also excellent for regulating the bile ducts because verbenone helps to eliminate and transport bile.
Mix to a carrier oil, Rosemary Verbenone essential oil is very effective in massage to detoxify the liver and to relieve liver problems (hepatic overload, viral hepatitis, cirrhosis, jaundice, hepatic intoxication) and biliary complications.
Respiratory decongestant and expectorant
Rosemary Verbenone essential oil contains eucalyptol (1.8-cineole) which is a great decongestant and expectorant. Eucalyptol helps to decongest the airways and improve circulation flow. Verbenone and camphor, on the other hand, are mucolytics. They help to thin and evacuate the mucus.
Thanks to its decongestant, expectorant and mucolytic properties, Rosemary Verbenone essential oil is recommended for bronchitis, inflammation of the mucous membranes, otitis, colds, sinusitis and coughing.
To relieve colds, coughs and ENT infections, mix 3 to 5 drops of Rosemary Verbenone essential oil with a carrier oil and massage the back or the concerned area.

Rosemary Verbenone essential oil has high quantity of alpha-pinene, which has great skin healing properties. Alpha-pinene promotes the healing and regeneration of the skin by stimulating skin tissues.
